    Hi,



    Please can you help me?



    I have changed my ISP and thus will current lose my email address in 90 days, which is linked to my Xbox Live Gold / profile.



    I have logged into my MS account (on line), removed the old email address and added a temporary address that I am using now. But by doing this has caused my Xbox One to prompt me for my password every time I turn on the console, which is very annoying.
    The old email is shown at the password prompt. Thus I logged back into MS and put the old email address back - which now logs me into my Xbox One without the password prompt.



    So, the problem is the current email that is linked to my Xbox account, I will lose this email in 90 days. Therefore I will have to add a new one soon, thus the password prompt will come back!



    Please can you tell me how to overcome this problem and how to link my new email with my Xbox live account, without getting the prompt for my XB1 and XB360?



    I have noticed that I can remove my account from the console. Maybe I can do this and then add the email if it works this way? But I am cautious as I don't want to lose any games saves etc. Note that I also have a Xbox 360 console that I will have
    to sort out as well - I don't think this one is using the cloud for saves. Thus I am sure it will delete everything, which is not good.



    To summarise:



    Need to remove old email

    Need to add new email

    Don't want password prompt for XB1 and XB360 appearing as a result of the new email

    Forgot my email

    If you're already signed in on the website here, you should be able to find the email address. Click on My Account in the upper right hand side of the page, then click on Chance Password. It should display the Live Email address when it prompts you for
    your current password.

    I'm not an expert but I was in a similar situation to where I had to change the email address to my Xbox Live account. When I successfully linked my new email address to my Xbox Live account I did not receive a password prompt on either my Xbox One or Xbox
    360.

    As far as I'm aware the only method to successfully changing your email address to your Xbox Live account is through your Xbox 360.

    What I did was follow these simple steps in the link below. Make sure you read the entire page especially the text in bold letters.

    Hopefully this solves your problem

    Forgetting xbox live account password

    You're password is needed to be typed in, not just as information on your drive. After a few attempts at logging in you will be prompted to click the "I forgot my password" prompt. Type your email address in and an email will be sent to you. Follow the steps
    to make a new password and re log in with your new password. Please remember to write down your password for future correspondences if needed. Hope this helps. Game on!

    Changing Email

    If you have your account logged in a Xbox 360, and know your password, you can change your email address of the MSA following the steps below:

    In your console, Go to Settings »»» Profile »»» Account Security »»» Change Microsoft Account »»» Click in YES. You'll be prompted to input your new email address, that will replace the old email address and will became the new MSA email

    NOTE: THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO DO IN A XBOX 360
