    first things first:

when you are asked to add another way of contact, this is a sign you did not correctly setup your account security information, when you read this post, just go to
https://account.live.com and sign in if necessary. there is a menu "security and password", click it and chose how you like to validate you are the one to currently access it, next setup 2 different security
options in total, email and telephone. when this has been done AND validated, your console wont show this popup again + you protect your password from being randomly stolen.

next to kick out others of your profile when it is stored to an xbox:

change your password, then go to
    http://account.xbox.com
, there is an option "xbox 360 account protection" or something like that, and when you open this page there is a green button like "request login on all xbox 360 consoles".

when someone tries to login on a console where your account used to be stored, it will prompt them to enter your email AND password, so they wont gain access again.
