Discus and support Passthrough to Sky TV error - 0x8027025a in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; HI - following the latest update, my Sky TV passthrough is no longer working.     Passthrough to Sky TV error - 0x8027025a


    HI - following the latest update, my Sky TV passthrough is no longer working. Anyone else suffering with this?

    I can't have it failing every time there's an update - I am on the preview updates

    The error comes up and says "For some reason TV has taken too long to start (0x8027025a)

    Microsoft told me it was a Sky TV issue and that they need to "update the passthrough to my xbox", but Sky TV are saying it's absolutely nothing to do with them and they are informed of updates as soon as they happen so they can prepare.

    Doing my head in!

    I can't factory reset every time!

    agreed, with error that says "For some reason TV took too long to start. (0x8027025a)"

    Xbox One S 4K Output/Input

    Anyone struggling to get UHD/4K working correctly, have tried all HDMI inputs on 4K tv yet keep having issues. Equally passthrough via Sky Q doesn't seem to support UHD/4K either.

    Any tips/tricks - TV in use is a Sony Bravia.

    Hey FameAsser - it's definitely not Sky's problem.

    Does doing a hard reboot (press+hold power button for 10 seconds) fix the issue?

    Hi. No it doesn't work. I have tried all wires and switched between. I have power cycled and everything and nothing is working.

    I went on the live chat and was basically told that a few people have had it and to "wait 72 hours for an email reply" which is a bit shoddy

    Lip sync issue with blu ray app

    Just a thought, but is the lip sync from blurays or is it from say Sky Q that goes into the Xbox One, and then into the TV?

    The reason I'm asking is that I've had the issue with lip syncing on Sky for ages, but only when Sky is plugged into the Xbox One and then passed through to the TV.

    It gets so bad that I'm no longer using the passthrough ability of the Xbox One, I'm sure in the good ole US of A it works just fine, but here in Blighty (where we watch TV at 50hz and not 60) it doesn't seem to work.

    Watching a Blu-ray though has always been fine.
