Discus and support Passkey Sign In issue and more. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I will try to explain this the best I can.     So I will try to explain this the best I can. I have since the march update had two instances where I can't sign in to my profile that uses a pass key. When this happens the Kinect also does not respond to me in anyway. I also cannot turn off the system
    thru the controller or settings, I have to do so by walking up to the Xbox and pushing the logo. My other profiles that don't use a pass key will sign in still though, but that doesn't make the Kinect work or help the turn off issue. Now I would like to say
    once I turn off the system thru the power sensor/button the problem seems to disappear for awhile, but it did happen twice so I don't what the deal is. I was just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them also... Whether it is all the issues or just
    the Kinect sensor/voice and turn off glitch?

    Sign-in security & passkey menu is gone....

    I'm having a different issue with my passkey. It doesn't ask me for it anymore. I check and anyone cant access and buy anytime. Even signing in it will ignore my passkey sign-in. I have tried deleting it and creating a new one, and still never showed up.

    This happen right after a sign-in error when i first logged in this morning using my passkey.

    Xbox shuts itself off when I try to sign into my profile online.

    Disable Instant Sign-in (From Sign-in, Security @ passkey) for the time begin.

    Support say they have this issue highlighted and working on it.

    Have you tried to remove the passkey, reboot, then create it again?

    You could also try to power cycle the console, by holding the xbox button on the console pressed for 5-8 seconds, then after power down, remove the power cable from the console and leave unplugged for 30 seconds before replugging and restarting.

    I have already done the power cycle and I did remove the passkey, which does help me sign in everytime. But the Kinect not listening and the console not powering off thru the controller still persists sometimes... Right now powering off the console seems
    to resolve the issue temporarily.

    Are you part of the update preview program?

    You could try a factory reset, although you would need to redownload and reinstall everything.

    Hi there,

    I believe you can set a passkey which will be required to before you sign in to your profile, buy things or change settings. Settings > Sign-in, security & passkey > Create Passkey, once that is created you can go back to Account > Sign-in, security & passkey
    > Change my sign-in security preferences > Ask for passkey, here you can select continue to stop using auto sign-in and use passkey. Here's a LINK
