Passkey/passwerd problems

Right so my son tried too many times to sihn into my profile and now i have to use my password. Thats fine and all. But i dont have a wifi connection to my xbox. Ive used hotspot with my phone and now the xbox wants to auto update.... ive went into settings
and turnes both "keep my console up to date" and games. Reset the console and started from scratch but the update still wants to start... (i dont have enough data to do the update).... is there anyway i can get around updating the console and still be able
to play a game?

So I set up my passkey for my settings and purchases yet when I go into settings I can delete my passkey with one click needing no passkey to do so...

So prettymuch my only option is to go somewhere with internet and do a usb update...

 

If you need to go somewhere else to be able to download the update to USB then you can also consider bringing the console to that place and have the console run the required update, then you don't have to use the USB offline update solution.

 

Yeah i knew that was an option, just thought there may be a way to either bypass the auto update or maybe unlock my profile some way through my phone. But doesnt look like its possible... imo its a little silly the system updates are automatic even when
you have it turned off
