Pass word recovery/change

Just bought Xbox One and want to transfer my Live Gold membership from my old 360. Problem the email address with the 360 is no longer valid and I have forgotten the password. Tell me this is not a catch 22 situation? How do I recover/change my password
when the email address is no longer valid?

my mum put a pass word on the xbox and now she has forgot it and she cant remember the recovery question answer what do i do ?

 

Youll have to contact official support. If your in the US call 800-469-9269. Tell them the gamertag and explain your issue and that you need to change the email. They will require you provide certain account specific infomation to prove your the account
holder then they may be able to change the email to somrthing different so that you can reset the password
