    Hello,

    This question has probably been asked a thousand times, so sorry for asking again.

    I recently purchased an Xbox One and so far have been highly impressed. There is one small thing that is irritating me and having done plenty of searching I am no closer to a solution. I am passing my Sky HD box through and the picture is somewhat inferior.
    The frame rate issue that others mention regarding a 50hz feed does not seem to be resolved. I was lead to believe this issue was fixed in an update and I can see a 50hz option in the settings which is enabled. I fear I may be missing some simple solution.
    Can someone provide a guide on what I need to do to make the image of the same quality as I have on a direct feed.

    I really would like to use this feature but watching football becomes impossible. Until this issue is cleared the TV facility will remain redundant. Which is a tremendous shame.

    Just a quick question, due to a few errors a while back when setting my account up i havent been able to download any purchases on my main gamertag and i was wondering if i download the online pass on a alternate GT on the same xbox will it also work for
    my main GT?

  5. I too have an issue like this. I posted a thread on here and got very poor response. The issue remains, and Microsoft doesn't care. They actually locked the thread.

    I posted pictures of the problem, one with my cable box going directly to the tv and the same picture with the cable box going to the xbox and then to the tv. I highlighted the problems.

    It looks to me like the picture is being compressed. A good way to really see it is when there is a gradual color change, so for example a sphere is red will be red in the middle and then have shadowing / shading around the edges. It will look smooth and
    flawless going from cable box to tv. However going from the cable box to the xbox to the tv it will step thru colors, like it will go from red, then there will be a round pattern defining the next shade of red, and so on. I see it on all the channels now,
    once you see it you start seeing it everywhere. Especially on backgrounds.

    But again if you go direct without the xbox, the resolution and shading go back to normal.

    I compare it to watching a 320 video at twice the size.

    I called xbox support, they tried all their power off power on, change the cables, bs. Then they pointed me to post on here. Then they lock the thread, and tell me to try and ask on the suggestion site, as a new feature or something like that.

    Sorry I can't help you out. Maybe if others notice this issue they will do something about it.

    Don't know whether this is any help but I posted something on the early access forum, and someone from Microsoft replied to say the issue has been logged. Trouble is you mainly notice the frame rate issue when watching football, and there may have been updates
    say, July, Aug, and Sept (Pre-Release) that have broken it. It has definitely been fixed in the past, but I'm with you that now football season has started again the issue has re-appeared.

    I have unknowingly been paying for game pass for a long time and would like some sort of refund

    I have tried to contact them. Going through the support site and querying game pass subscription issues and refunds doesn't lead me to speaking to an actual person or even web chat. This forum post was my last option

    as it is letting you download from the store it sounds as if it is recognising your Game Pass but for some reason it isn't showing in the Game Pass section.

    try Power Cycling your Xbox.

    hold the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds until the Xbox turns off completely then unplug the power from the wall.

    wait 5 minutes then plug it back in and turn on the Xbox as normal and check your subscriptions to see if that sorted it out.

    let us know if this doesn't work so we can try something else
