    Since todays alpha skip update partys are shutting down out of nowhere for me and when accepting a join request the guide goes blank and freezes up seems to mostly be when in a game as a result the performance of the guide seems to be taking a hit and causing this for me I've reported the issue as well

    Hello There : To resolve this problem, disconnect from the last party you were in and then try joining the new party.

    Here’s how:

    1. Go back to the last party you joined.
    2. Scroll to the bottom and select Leave party.
    3. Try joining the new party again.
    Note If you were the party leader for the last party, you will not see an option to leave the party. To disconnect from that party, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
    2. Highlight the party, press the Menu button  on your controller, and then select Quit.
    3. Try joining the new party again

    Xbox 360 Xbox Live Disconnecting when In Party

    It's still doing this.. all over the weekend, every time I joined a party or my friends joined my party I got disconnected from live and had to sign back in to live, once signed in it was fine..

    I don't have this issue on the XO, I can join party's, or have friends join my party and it's fine..

    Hey Dan, if you're disconnecting while in a party only, that indicates that you probably have a moderate or closed NAT (or that someone in your party, does). I recommend
    this guide for resolving NAT issues--can you try working through the steps there, to see if they allow you to play in a party without disconnecting? :)

    Been playing now for ~ 30 min. with no disconnect, however whenever I join Xbox Live Party, I lag constantly. Probably separate issue.

    Xbox Live Party does not work between Xbox One and Xbox 360

    Hi make sure you are joining the party through the Xbox 360 guide, and not through the Xbox one guide. If you're not sure how to access the Xbox 360 guide, press the two buttons either side of the Xbox button at the same time on the controller. This will
    bring up the Xbox 360 guide, and you can join the party from there.
