    Party system failure since the new dashboard update. on Xbox 1.


    I will start a party or go into a friends party, 1 of 2 things happen. I hear them, they can not hear me, OR I can not hear them and they can not hear me. My NAT is open, as theirs is also. I have done countless hard resets, router resets etc. While finally
    successfully in a party last night, I find out others are having the same problem. Tonight, I invited friend in my party, friend came in, I sent game invite and the party then kicked me out of that party. Repeated steps, I continually get kicked out of my
    own party, and likewise when my friend does the same. This happens on Destiny and Minecraft. It is not the game..problem occurred after the dashboard update. Xbox please fix your problem. Thank you.

    Avatars on the Xbox one anytime soon?

    I heard they may be rolling out a new Friends tab soon instead of just having Pins Home and Store on the Dashboard. I'm NOT in this "Preview Programme" thingy. On Xbox 1 your avatar is hiding in a Windows 8 app called Avatars. You can customize your gamer
    pic too. On Xbox 360 you have several games which use your Xbox avatar including A World of Keflings and Dorito's Crash Course 2. Even the Party Chat system on Xbox 1 doesn't use your avatars like the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Party. Yikes too Windows 8 they stuck
    a PC OS on an Xbox console. But M is making improvements. They role out Dashboard updates pretty much every month for Xbox 1 and have created an official feedback site.

    Anyone know when the Party Chat will improve with the next update?

    I do think the dashboard is a little sterile, but if you where new to the 360, I don't think the 360 is overly intuitive, people like it because there used to it.

    Also the party system seems to have improved since the destiny update, I got in a party without issue yesterday for the first time in ages.

    im pretty sure it has something to with the servers being updated for the new Xbox One and supposedly there is gonna be a new dashboard update for the xbox 360. today ive been lagging in and out of games and parties, even in a party my friends seem to lag
    when they are talking. my connection is fine since i have modem a few feet from my xbox

    I tried this also, and after the first update bar was through, another white screen popped up saying it was downloading...which ended up not working. And on xbox.com the latest system update to download is from February?

    If you still have problems then try the following.

    Go to system/storage and highlight your storage device, press the following button combination LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X

    You will be prompted to confirm deletion of the system update, select yes and then try updating again either from Live or preferably the USB stick or cd/DVD.
