    Party overlay bug


    Someone told me that it was an insider program bug and that an update fixed it. I didn’t get the update and I have been in the program for 2 years and 5 months now and I don’t want to leave. If anyone knows anyway to get the update I would appreciate it

    Did Microsoft change the party overlay to make it more to the corner of the screen?

    It's the new update for the MK 2 operating system on Xbox one consoles the update you have noticed is a bug fix for the issues they have been having with party overlay and party chats

    It is a visual bug, but it is also effects the other party members in their overlay on either PC or Xbox it shows that I am transmitting so it just puts my gamertag on their screen all the time which is very frustrating for them.

    Turn party overlay off and restart your console,

    Turn it back on and Turn party overlay back on and it should work again

    Hi, I know those overlays are sometimes frustrating but you can disable them. When in a party bring up the party menu and there is a toggle halfway down the screen labeled "Voice Overlay" just disable this toggle and the overlay will not longer display.

    This is called a party overlay and can be disabled from going into a party and clicking the ‘Party Overlay’ button, you need to set this to off. If you require any further assistance don’t refrain from asking again ;)
