party not working

Discus and support party not working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; when me and my friend try and join a party it just says that we are connecting the whole time and cannot hear each other then after about 5 minutes it...     party not working


    when me and my friend try and join a party it just says that we are connecting the whole time and cannot hear each other then after about 5 minutes it will say go to network setting to fix this, so we go there and it checks the connection an it says that
    our connection is all good but theyre having trouble with Social/gaming, is this happening to everyone else?

    If you haven't yet, try
    power cycling     your console. That can often help clear up a lot of things that pop up.

    Party not working

    when I join or make a party it says your privacy settings prevent chat with some people but no matter what party I join it says theat and in privacy settings everything is set to everyone or allow I'm so mad plz help me

    Sorry to hear it. There was an issue with joining other players on Live this weekend but I'm not sure if it involved parties.

    What you and your friend should try though is to hold the power button on your consoles for 10 seconds until they shut down. Hopefully that will solve the party issue for you both.

    Holding the power button shuts the console down while, at the same time, clearing the cache to allow it to run games and apps more smoothly.

    Another question. I've talked to Xbox, my ISP, and router company several times each. I've done everything they've all suggested and nothing works. My problem is I finally got my Xbox one to open nat but nothing is working to get ghosts(because aw sucks)
    from moderate to open. It's driving me crazy and is consuming every waking hour lately. Please help!

    I understand that you are experiencing issues with your party chat not working.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please reset the Xbox Game Bar App by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. Find Xbox Game Bar, click Advanced Options, and select Reset. This can clear any glitches.

    And then check audio device settings. To do this, open the Game Bar (Windows key + G), go to Settings > Party Chat, and ensure the correct input and output devices are selected.

    Next is to update Audio Drivers. Open Device Manager, locate your audio device, right-click, and select Update Driver. Outdated drivers can cause audio issues.

    Then check app permissions. Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone and ensure Xbox Game Bar has permission to access your microphone.

    After that is to adjust volume mixer. Right-click the volume icon on the taskbar, select Open Volume Mixer, and ensure all Xbox Game Bar instances have their volumes turned up.

    Kindly check privacy settings by signing in to Xbox.com, go to Account Manager > Xbox Settings > Privacy & Online Safety, and ensure communication settings are set to Everyone.
