    Party lag out


    Every time I join a game or party with this certain friend of mine I immediately lag out and get kicked off xbox live. We have the same internet and I have tried a lot of different things to try and solve this issue. Some of which are opening ports, new
    xbox, switching accounts ect.

    [/quote]U can start by seeing if your NAT type is set opened,moderate, or closed.

    If so else has a different NAT that will have a affect some times.

    Could you be a little more specific how you have set up Port Forwarding.

    Since you are using Port Forward, could you make sure UPnP is turned off. Some router have this feature turned on as default. UPnP and Port Forward should be used
    separately.

    If you are using a wireless connection, are you able to try a wired connection to determine if the problem still persists.

    Post back and let us know how it goes.

    KEEP LAGGING OUT OF PARTIES

    yeah guys it works from time to time, but now it is kicking me out more often. and yes it is a ARRIS tg1268g. my connection is fine. nothing wrong with the modem. just xbox being xbox again. and that person who first replied to me has not helped me at all.
