Party invites and party joining not working

Hi

I've had this problem for some time now, and I've tried many solutions to it with no success. It regards the party system. I am not receiving my friends' party invites, nor are they receiving mine. I send the invites but they report that they did not arrive.
They send me invites but I never get them either. Also, I am unable to join a party even though my friends report the party is open. It only works if I create an open party and they join it without an invite. I was told this problem might be related to the
fact that I am part of the xbox preview program and some friends who are also in the program report problems somewhat like mine. Do I have to leave the program in order to fix these party issues?

Parties, chats and game invites

Couldn't agree more , it's crap to be honest and when you join a party you then have to enable party chat , what's the point in that ?
They have over complicated the whole thing .
The amount of times yesterday people were texting and saying they "couldn't enable party chat" when they joined was crazy .
The whole invite system and chat needs looking into .
Set forza up yesterday and sent out the invites and no one in the game could hear voice until we left party chat then someone else set the party up.
Microsoft please sort this , there's no awards for over complicated party invites .

 

Invites Only

Why is it when a party is on Invites Only, people can still join through our profiles? With the Xbox 360 when a party host puts a party on Invites Only the Join Party option vanishes from everyone's profile that is in the party. With the Xbox One, everyone
has Join in their profile where the Invites Only parties are still open as in Joinable where people are still joining through anyone's profile where random people are still joining.
