[Party heard through headset, only speak not possible.]

Hi Leute,

seit gestern Abend funktioniert mein Headset irgendwie nichtmehr. Ich kann jeden in meiner Party hören, nur erkennt mein Mic garnichts. Mein Headset ist das Standard Headset was mitgeliefert wird. Besonders merkwürdig ist allerding auch dass ich mein ALTES
Standard Headset versucht habe und das auch nicht geht. Habe dann beide Headsets nochmal an meinem anderen Controller angeschlossen und da passiert auch nichts. Account hab ich auch schon durchgeguckt ob irgendeine Einstellung die Party blockiert. Dort ist
aber auch nichts zu finden.

Wäre super wenn irgendeiner eine Lösung hat oder zumindest eine Idee.

Since yesterday evening my headset does not function any more. I can hear everyone in my party, only my mic does not recognize. My headset is the standard headset which is included. Especially strange is also that I have tried my ALTES standard headset and
that is not synonymous. Have then both headsets again to my other controller connected and since nothing happens. Account I've already durchgguckt whether some setting blocked the party. There is also nothing to be found there.

Would be super if any has a solution or at least an idea.

Xbox one mic stopped working

I am having the same issue as well. I am using the Xbox One chat headset. I can hear through the headset perfectly well. But my voice cannot be heard - not in party chat and not in game chat either. Nothing lights up when I speak. I have gone through all
of the steps outlined above. But I am hesitant to buy a new headset only to find that it still does not work because of a software issue from a recent update.

So when i have my settings on party chat through headset i hear the game play just fine along with my party but when i change it to party through speaker my game volume through my mic gets drowned out because my party volume gets louder why does party through
speaker affect my mic.

Sorry to hear about the issues with your mic working incorrectly. To be sure I understand correctly, are you saying that both your Xbox headset and your ALTES headset do not work on multiple controllers? If that's the case, have you tried to

power cycle your console yet? Give that a try and see if it helps at all.

Ok so this is the main difference between voice preferences for the 360 vs. One.

1. On 360 your given choice where your party/chat voice's come through-headset, speakers or both. IN ADDITION, you can still speak through your headset with any of these options.

2. On One you have 2 choices: 1) you speak through the Kinect, and chat comes through speakers. 2) you speak through your headset and chat comes through head set.

The problem with these options, obviously, is that voice through the Kinect sounds faded and distant for people far away from TV. So you CANNOT speak through your headset AND have headphones (ie, turtle beaches, Bose, Beats, etc.). The only way to achieve
this is to splice the wires on your own... which is a problem. Any 3rd party product is still a few months off market at least.

Hey Hensman when you try to speak through the headset in the party is there a pulsing colour around your profile picture?

I can't hear anybody through my TB XO One headset, but they can hear me. Game chat is fine, but in party chat it doesn't work. It shows me speaking when I speak, and my friends tell me they can hear me, and if I unplug the headset, I can hear people speaking
through the TV speakers.

The fact that game chat still works proves that it's Microsoft's software, not my headset, adapter, Xbox or controller.
