Party/Game invite notification

Hi,

Myself and two of my friends having been playing multiple different online games together. Yesterday we tried logging into a few of them and sending out invites. None of the invites from myself to them nor them to myself nor them to each other came though.
Party and game invites. We've already done all the existing trouble shooting we could find. Nothing has worked. Now any game/party that allows you to join on a friend without invite worked just fine. No we are not on the same network. All of us have open
NAT. Any ideas? This is kinda a game breaking issue when playing on private servers.

Can't receive notifications! Miss out on games!

i can't get notifications. No party invites. No game invites. No warning when I get a message. Please help!

Not receiving messages

I am not receiving any messages from friends. Notifications such as party invite or game invite show up, but messages will not. I even went into notifications and seen that messages were on.

Hey there, this may have been related to a service alert that was up. Are you currently running into this issue? Go ahead and give your Xbox One console a quick power cycle by holding the power down for 10 seconds.

I'd probably recommend just disabling the achievements notifications then. Does it do it for all notifications though? such as game invites and party invites on your PC too?

I think the party invite notification was removed and put on the Xbox Game bar instead, if you launch the game bar by pressing windows key and g, then goto settings - social, you should find an option to turn on notification for invites to party.

the only things i think are broken are friend notifications and the partys i hate the fact that when i invite someone to a game it invites them to a party also hate the fact u have to b playing the same game as the party

Xbox companion app is discontinued, and the "Party Invitations" and "Games" notification settings are nonexistent in the Xbox PC app. Settings for invites and messages are all on the Game Bar app for PC.

You'll just have to make sure these settings are checked after reinstalling the game bar @ (Game Bar)Settings>Notifications>Xbox Social>Notify me when I'm invited to a party or multiplayer game

Why doesn't unchecking "Notify me when I earn Reward points" stop these notifications? Is there really no way to separate these notifications from achievement or game/party invite notifications?
