Party, friends, invites, broken...

Help.

I'm having issues, here's a list.

• Party chat, getting kicked (not by leader), problems connecting

• Invitations. Many times I have said Xbox Launch. The Box acknowledges what I say, and no invitation gets accepted.

• Friends. My friends list says "We are unable to show friends right now" or something similar to that...

• My friends say I'm appearing offline so they can't invite me.

• Profile. I go to my profile, for some reason I actually am offline and CONSTANTLY keep being put offline as a default. When I click to appear online I get "Sorry. We can't change how you appear right now" with some long 0x87c40000 code.. I think that's
the code. I've typed it so many times..

I know, it's a garbage Internet plan, but it's good enough. I already did 4 hard reboots. Unplug the power chord from the box, and from the wall. Pull the router cable from the box and the router. Pull the other 2 chords out. Pull the router and modems
power chords for 5 minutes. Everything, 5 minutes unplugged. Didn't help. Occasionally my account appears online, and I'll get an invite, half the time I can accept it. The rest of the time, I surf xbox forums looking for similar issues. What do I need
to do? Factory reset? Call ISP to make sure I have a public IP? I'm tired of this BS. One more thing, when accepting game invites to Minecraft it was saying "Can't join world. You are not friends with anyone in this world." I have everyone in there in
my friendlist. But since my friendlist can't be displayed, I don't think the game can see them either.

ok does anybody agree with this....

the only things i think are broken are friend notifications and the partys i hate the fact that when i invite someone to a game it invites them to a party also hate the fact u have to b playing the same game as the party

I agree pretty much with this. The 360s party, chat and game invite process was fine. It's seamless integration of friends was one of the reasons I went for the One. Backwards step in my opinion.

 

Nothing, seriously? Not one suggestion other than what I've already tried?

 

Im also having this problem alongside others, All start with the Septemeber update, Dashboard unresponsive, cant access friends list, so frustrating

 

I'm having the same issue as of 12:00 est as well. Ive had nothing but problems with partying and playing with friends on xbox one since launch. I didnt even turn it on for 6 months until yesterday hoping things have been fixed. Same old stuff. It really
is a shame. I praised the one to friend on its innovative features but im embarrased now that he has purchased it and had nothing but issues with the online service.
