Between you all, you have summed up party chat in a nutshell!

My biggest pet hate us people eating in party chat. Munching away on a bag of crisps, throwing it around there mouth like a washing machine I find really ignorant. Maybe I'm getting to the age where I find most things irritating but I find noisy eaters intolerable.

Each to their own I suppose.

People also tend to create one person parties and then hope someone will join without them inviting anyone. Some of my friends will also leave their consoles on after going to be and go afk on YouTube or Netflix and still be in a one person party. The great
thing about party chat is you can do different stuff and still be in chat. I think Sony copied Microsoft's Xbox Live Party Chat idea from Xbox 360 and now they have a Party chat on their 8th gen console or something. When I was choosing to go with either Xbox
or PS in 2010, someone said Xbox because they have Microsoft software not cheap software running on the console and Xbox Live and party chat and that the features of XBL are better than PSN which I think is true. Microsoft I think is a better software company
    than Sony.

@Ibakez I couldn't possibly comment I was to focused on staying alive to prevent any teabagging incidents......

The other thing I dislike is some brands of mics pic up everything, when babies are crying in the background is as annoying as someone eating crisps, when the mic should be directional and wouldn't have that issue.

    Luckily theres no chat teabag.

  5. OMG... ^That gave me an awesome idea... lol. We SHOULD have a "chat teabag" so to speak. You should be able to choose anyone in the party and feed their own mic noise back to them! Whatever we all have to hear (how'd you like that crisp crunchers!?) they
    have to hear as feedback.

I will not just join a party. If I get a invite then I know it's ok. I prefer to do it the same way when I host a party. I always lock mine but I have no problem with someone asking to join. It also gets me if someone just joins my team say on the division
without asking. Not that I don't like to game or talk with people, it's just sometimes you may want to game alone. It might also be that I am gaming with one or both of my kids.

I may be a jerk for thinking like this but common courtesy goes a long way. You would not just walk into a friends hose, sit down and join in their night without asking.

I just like to know peoples expectations so I can meet them, its very different for many people, and interesting to see peoples views.

I also think its interesting that people like invites but I wonder how many people send them, I know I don't always, if no one is free when I get on I won't send invites and after that I don't look.

Crying babies or kids moms yelling at them are the main reason I mute everybody.

Be warned, I have Kinect for Xbox 1........ That will pick up lots of background "music" (the dogs barking) and "art" (hear the birds tweeting outside my window). Why would I want to "wear" a mic? Just kidding. I am serious though about the Kinect, I have
the Day 1 Edition Xbox 1 console with Kinect.

Otherwise as one of my friends so eloquently puts it "your up yourself" where you say have a party invite friends to dinner and they eat cake with a knife and fork and drink coffee with a straw. But still you should try to be polite but older and younger
peps have differences on how polite or how much fun you want. It is a PARTY and you do tend to go a bit wild. One of my friends calls some of my friends "miss up herself".

@Fyerball you can adjust the privacy on Division so no one can join your group without an invite.

I play with people who use the kinect and I use the kinect if my mic breaks and its about consideration, in my house no one wants to be heard , so they don't make much noice, but I also do't have young kids, but I have friends that play with high end turtle
beaches and you can here their kids screaming, and their other halfs screaming back, its not about kinect. (I only know this because I asked them to stop using kinect and they said what they did use.

Mute has to be one of the best features, although a little odd when it only mutes on way, although funny you can talk about someone and you can't here them moan lmao

there's only a select few people on my 'favourites' list that i dont mind jumping into parties but the new feature of seeing who is in them first is awesome
