Party encountered an error

I cannot join parties on my Xbox. Here's the procedure of what happens:

1. Can't join on Xbox, but can join on my phone or computer.

2. When I click the invite on my Xbox, it won't join. After joining on my phone, it then joins on my Xbox.

3. Once I am in a party on my Xbox, in about 5 - 10 minutes, I get kicked out and the message Party Encountered Error is in the party screen.

I repeat this process over and over again.

I have done hard resets to no available. My NAT type is open. I've reset my router and cable modem. I've cleared cache on my Xbox and still encountered this problem.

Hi David,

It seems like the best course of action for you is to do a power cycle on your console. Is your network NAT type open or strict?

Please check your NAT Type, you want it to be Open if you want to join parties with no issues.

Try performing a hard reset. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
