Party disconnects when i close side bar

my xbox received an update 28/04/17, I am enrolled in the preview program. Since this update whenever i close my side bar it boots me from my party, if i keep my side bar open my party stays connected. I have checked my network multiple times and nat is
always open and speeds are normal.

Party chat issue when closing party tab

when I join a party and then close the party tab to play a game on my xbox one it instantly disconnects me from the party but when I stay in the party tab it stays in

party chat not work staying connected

i have experienced the same issue.

Party is good if i stay on the party side bar. But if i go on a game it disconnects after 2-3 minutes.

And if i try to connect again it disconnects after 2-3 minutes without even giving a error code or a notification. Please fix this ASAP, because this is realy bugging me atm, and makes me not wanna play at all.

if you are using game bar sometimes it will do that when the bar is closed while playing a game or doing anything else. i think your best bet for a party would be to use xbox console companion. i have yet to have a problem with party chats when using that.

Same here everytime i close the party chat tab the party get deleted. My friend gets disconnected 3 seconds into joining the party everytime

Open up the party in your side bar after you have made the party, Scroll down to options select that and then select Make the Party Invite-Only.
