Party disconnect without a popup

When I connect to a party all works fine. But when I unsnap the party, I get a disconnect after a time without a popup. Thats annoying.

Anyone else has / had the same problem?

Xbox Live disconnects immediately when I start to download games

Hi,

I have been experiencing some serious disconnects to Xbox Live lately. After some trying around I figure it happens whenever I start to download games.

If I sign in without downloading any games, I can play for over an hour without disconnecting. But if I have anything in the download queue, or try to actively start a download, Xbox Live will disconnect immediately. So quick in a way that the disconnect
popup follows right after the "you are signed in to Xbox Live" popup.

I connect my Xbox to my router with a LAN cable. I tried testing connection. 8 out of 10 times it will connect without a problem. Other times random error code might pop up. I tried deleting profiles, clearing storage cache several times, port forwarding,
disabling router firewall. None of them work. I'm running out of ways to tackle this... Would appreciate if anyone can shed some lights on it.

(There was a software update a weeks before and my Xbox also kept getting disconnected, immediately or after a minute, while downloading the update. I have tried literally over 10 times and it finally got through.)

I'm sorry to hear about your Xbox Live Party Issues. The disconnecting might be because of the Party Host having a bad connection. Please try making a party without anyone in there and see if it still disconnects you.

Yes unfortunately I have had the same problem as well. I've noticed with only certain people that this occurs with though. I would be in a party with a friend or two and when this specific friend joins I immediately get disconnected (hopefully this refers
to your situation). Another issue with this (I assume it's due to a NAT type) is trying to join a game with that person in which I have the same problem of being kicked. If in your case there isn't any other person causing the problem it still may deal with
your NAT type changing (I've had tech friends of mine to say a NAT can't change but when you're playing on open and get kicked and it ends up being strict without ever being disconnected well then ha I don't know what else to call it). If this is your problem
I would take steps in trying to make yours as well as your friends NAT open or at lest moderate.

**More than likely it's a connectivity error**
