Party Connection error

Hello all,

When 2 Xbox 1 are connected at once to the same router, I get a error message saying that "party chat is blocked by network settings" and gives me a error code: 0x89231906 I was just wondering if any one knows what setting on my router that might be affecting
party chat. Also when only one Xbox 1 is in use, it works perfectly, only when 2 xbox 1 are in use and are connected to the router that this problem occurs.

Problems with internet through xbox one

Just rerun the test for network connection on your console so that error message is verified. If it does not connect again, the network connection troubleshooter will fix the problem for you.

party chat ......Whats going on?

Whats going on with the party chat? keep loosing connection and sometimes cannot view friends list keep getting error code "0x807a1007*

It's very likely that your router doesn't support multiple consoles with an Open NAT. We can take a look though and see if there is any options. Can you please provide us your router's manufacturer and model number?

No worries,

Unfortunately we've confirmed that this device will not support multiple consoles with an Open NAT. This is what is causing the issue with allowing for both consoles to connect and function properly. You'll need to use a different network device to allow
both consoles to connect at the same time.

You'll want to reach out to your ISP to check and see if they offer another device that will allow for multiple consoles to connect with an Open NAT.

Sorry for the bad news, but I hope they can help with another device!

Please, change your connection DNS.

Follow these steps:

Go to Profile and System > Settings > General > Network Settings.

Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

On the DNS field, input these:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Save settings.
