Party Chat with Split-screen

My brother and my sister-in-law play split-screen on Call of Duty while I play on my own console. They have 2 gold profiles, 2 controllers, and 2 headsets. Though getting party chat set up was a nightmare compared to its simplicity on Xbox 360, we were finally
able to get them up and running.

Once we started playing CoD Ghosts, however, only 1 headset would work at a time. All 3 of us are in the party chat, but if my brothers headset (player 1) was connected, my SIL couldn't hear or talk, and if he unplugged his mic, she could hear and talk.
Once he plugs his back in, she loses sound.

It worked just fine on the Xbox 360 party chat + Ghosts, so I don't believe it is the game causing the problem. Additionally, we were able to get them both chatting on the same console so I wouldn't have thought that was the issue either.

Any suggestions?

why cant we local chat on any xbox console??

Out of curiosity have you tried using party chat at all?

On the 360 my partner and I would game split screen and be chatting with friends in a party, this is assuming your friend has his own account.

 

Kinect- mic not working when multiple ppl logged in

truing to play COD BO3 with our neighbors, multiplayer, split screen. when 2 of us are logged in and try to join their party, chat stops working. Kinect issue ? BO3 issue? Fixes??? Thanks!!

 

Same problem here. I guess it's a feature not a bug.
