party chat will not work

i had this problem with party chat a long time ago where it would not work a while after this it was fixed by a system update

today i played with very little problems till now my xbox is connected fine with an open nat and no problems there but i am unable to use party chat and my friends are repeatedly kicked from the game

please help

Can't turn on PARTY CHAT

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

We use Skype when it doesn't work.

To get the party chat to work:

- we all reboot our consoles (do not start any other apps/games when it boots up)

-one person starts a party but does not invite anyone

-the rest joins the party by going to the friends list choosing the friend and selects Join Party

-turn on party chat

Ive tested the following when it doesnt work:

-join existing party that has chat turned on

-turn on my party chat - unsuccessful

-ask host to turn off party chat

-turn on my party chat -success

-ask host to turn on party chat - unsuccessful

-turn off my party chat

- host turns on party chat - successful

 

XBox one party chat unavaliable

Party chat does not work nat is not correcting using skype atm. Fix party chat please.

 

Welcome to the club, party chat has been and probably will remain broken. Just use Skype like everyone else, the voice quality is better anyway.

 

In a party chat i could do everything but hear my friends. I could play with them, join their stuff and, they could hear me but i could never hear them. I never had this problem until the attacks. I finally tried to play without my headset and just with
the kinect and that has worked for me. I still cant chat through my headset but i can hear the game sound so i know its on the xbox side. Hopefully they will focus on fixing this soon.

 

i think it is something to do with a 100% packet loss issue many people are apparently getting an i talked to someone on xbox support and they said they are trying to resolve the issue and i asked him for some indication on how long it may be taken to be
fixed but found that it was stone walled so i will ask here if any Microsoft employees see this how long is the fix expected to take it is all i would like to know as i was suggested a factory reset but the time to reinstall/download would be more of a hassle
so if an expected fix time was presented i could see my options

 

The packet loss issue is new, the party chat bugs arent. I want to like the Xbox but the longer I have it the more unacceptable bugs I find. Its sorta a piece of junk.

 

the packet loss is new it started a while ago but according to xbox its on there part and it should be fixed once they sort the packet loss but the thing is i was playing with the 100% packet loss and no problems but then a lag spike happend and even when
fixed i can only party chat for about 10 seconds

 

what you need to do is go to settings and restart our system nd then try an if that dosent work mesage me back please
