    Party Chat vs Game Chat?


    I was wondering if there was a separation between party chat and game chat?

    For example, say I want to play Halo MCC with a friend online and don't want the other people in our Halo multiplayer game to hear us talking. Is that what the party chat is for? If I am in a party with that friend and playing the same game can the other
    people in the same game (but not in the party) hear us?

    12 vs 12 TDM infantry only modes or Rush with NO vehicles. Maybe 18 vs 18. I think 32 vs 32 would be too much. Imagine that party chat! Oh yeah, party chat!

    Party chat vs in game chat?

    Party chat is a chat were you are grouped only with your friends and it does not matter what game each of you is playing. In-game Chat is a chat that is specific to the game and allows all people in the match to speak to each other.

    Party is where you invite people either from your friends list or from game and you can only talk to them and not in game.

    Game chat is where you talk to everyone in the game whether they are your friends or not.

    In-game chat: Anyone in the vicinity or the entire server (Depending on the game) can hear
