Party Chat through TV

Hi there

Is there any way that I can have party chat coming through my TV instead of my headset with my Xbox one without Kinect as I bought the model on Monday without Kinect.

Party Chat Through TV

Hey guys, I have a quick but fairly specific question. My wife likes to listen to me and my friends conversations on Xbox Live. She's not nosey, we just talk about super weird things.

Anyways, I don't have a Kinect and I talk to my friends in the party through a headset. Is there any setting that will allow me to have the party's audio come out my headset and the television speakers?

Not that I'm aware of.

 

If I am understanding this correctly your party chat audio will come out of the TV perfectly fine. You just won't be able to chat back in return without the Kinect or a headset.

 

Yeah What I meant was how can I speak through my headset but hear the responses through the TV speakers so anyone else in the room can hear the conversation. This used to be possible on the 360.

 

To my knowledge that isn't an option "yet" on the Xbox One. I believe its something that is planned at some point. I know that's not quite the answer you were hoping for but hopefully we will see it soon in one of the monthly updates.

 

Yeah I just recently got my XBOX One and was surprised by this. It's been out almost a year and this issue hasn't been addressed. I hope they can get this issue solved A.S.A.P. Especially since I upload videos to You Tube and I don't want to run a bunch
of wires to get audio recorded.
