Party chat shows my friend is disconnected?

Sorry to hear you are having this issue, before we go in to network details have you tried doing a hard reset on your Xbox by unplugging the power waiting ten seconds then plugging it back in? Additionally more network information is needed, what is your/his
nat type? Do you have a problem connecting/chatting with anyone else?

there has definitely been something going on... i haven't been kicked off, but my friends have been kicked from my party, and it shows 0 gamerscore and no pics or rep etc for a while before finally loading. it also takes a while to show their avatars as
well. I was disconnected the other day, and only upon reseting my router did it reconnect.

Is it possible that a simple fault in the wire could be causing it? I had no luck with a wired connection on my xbox :/

But reading your problems with party disconnection and no rep or score showing for your friends, this has been going on for me just recently too. It kept disconnecting party chat where it tells me that my friends left, but it tells them that i left, and
so on.

Same here everytime i close the party chat tab the party get deleted. My friend gets disconnected 3 seconds into joining the party everytime

Yes I am connected to Xbox Live, talking to my friend in party chat. And it never disconnects me.

Now that everything is working any party chat I join show me as disconnected with the error code 0x807a1007 saying my network settings are blocking party chat. Was working fine earlier and I have an open NAT
