    party chat problems


    When I am in party chat, I can't get party texts from people. When I click show text chat, there are no messages from other people even though they sent them and everyone else got them. When I send out a party text, people get the notification for my message,
    however my message doesn't go through and they just get quotation marks as the message. I tested this in multiple parties and with different accounts from my console and the same thing happens so not sure what is going on. I know that this is not account specific
    and that it happens with all parties and not just certain people. It was working fine a month ago. Any ideas?

    You too huh? EVERY SINGLE PERSON on my friends list tell me they also have party chat problems. I also have these party chat problems. Most people I talk to in online games tell me they also have these party chat problems.

    The console is over a year old now and WE STILL HAVE THESE PARTY CHAT PROBLEMS!

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down? Hopefully that will fix the issue for you.

    You can also try to unplug your modem and your Xbox One. Let them stay unplugged for 30 seconds, then re-secure all wires and reboot. This can help in getting your modem and Xbox re-synced. Hope this helps!

    Party chat issues are frequently caused by NAT issues. It is best if you have an OPEN NAT. Check your network settings, if you have a strict NAT type follow the instructions at this guide.

    my NAT is open. Also the microphone symbol seems weaker. It flashes very weakly when I speak but it is ok for everyone else. This started 29 January. Was there an update then? Because on that day it started showing different colours on peoples' profiles
    when you clicked view profile.

    I have an issue with party chat. Me and a friend will be in it playing a game for awhile then it disconnects him. He still shows in party but cant hear him he cant hear me. We've tried rebooting systems routers and still keeps happening. Can anyone help?

    Party Chat problem

    For some funny reason it sometimes helps if you cannot hear them, to switch to game chat and then switch back to party chat. Have you ever tried that?
