Party Chat Problems when playing a backwards compatible game.

I’ve had this issue for about a month now and it’s starting to get really annoying as me and my friends want to play Black Ops 2 but I cant because every time I load up a backwards compatible game my party bugs out and everyone goes silent. Any solutions
would be greatly appreciated.

I found a solution that worked for me, I reset my xbox and kept “My games and apps” it only takes around 20-30 mins and solves it

When you're in the game. Do you notice if you and your friends have been placed in Game chat?

Have you all tried talking in an Xbox 360 party?

I'm having a similar issue. If I launch any backwards compatible game, the party permanently breaks for me. It doesn't disconnect me, but it doesn't say I'm talking when I do and it says no one else is talking either. I tought it might have been a potential
bug with just Game Pass Fallout: New Vegas, but it turns out if it's digital or disc, it still results in the party chat not working.

Happens to me and my friends to.

Party chat glitches as soon the Xbox original/360 games are loaded.

Only the person thats playing a Backwards Compatible game cant hear or talk to people.
