    Party chat problems on Windows 10 Xbox app


    I'm having problems with the xbox app for windows 10 as my friends in my party can't hear me speak in my microphone. My microphone works fine as I have tested it on skype on my pc and on my Xbox. I also can't talk to them through my laptops internal microphone.
    I have tried multiple things to solve the issue such as check the security settings for the app and updating all the audio drivers etc. I just can't seem to solve this issue and this app used to work fine in the past so I'm unsure on what I can do to fix it?

    Usb Headsets and microphones...

    USB headsets are not compatible with an Xbox one, and so far there is no software to fix this issue. If you are looking to use the headset for chatting purposes only you can download the xbox app on windows 10, often it is pre-installed on windows 10
    pcs. With the xbox app you can create a party and invite your friend(s), the party will have voice chat.

    The Windows 10 Xbox App allowa PC users to join Xbox parties with no problem. I have a friend that I play Gears 4 with and he joins the party chat from the app.

    You can also check if Party chats work well on the Xbox app on PC (Windows 10/11) or on your phone.
