Party Chat Options for Xbox Game Bar, Specifically Text-to-Speech

I have scoured the internet for direct and workaround methods to allow me to speak to my Xbox party members through text. This feature is currently available on the Xbox One only. As opposed to "Text-to-Speech" under "Gaming Features" -> "Game Chat Transcription", I would like to enable Xbox Game Bar Party Chat Text-to-Speech. I often play in the evenings and want to keep the volume down while my children sleep. If I am talking, this defeats the purpose. Additionally, my party members don't necessarily have time to read messages I send rapidly during intense game play. The solution is Text-to-Speech. Why is this not a feature on the Game Bar? How can this be made into a feature? Has anyone found a successful workaround?

I would suggest doing this go to Windows Search type "Xbox Game Bar" > App Settings > Reset then restart your PC. Go to your Xbox Program install Xbox Game Bar again, should take a few seconds then do the Windows + G to open it back up. See if that did anything for you.

You can also enable Text to Speech:

Press the Xbox button on your controller

Navigate to Profile and system > Settings > Ease of Access

Select Game and Chat transcription

Under the Party chat options column, select one or both transcription settings

This will activate the transcription settings while you are in party chat. With those features enabled, you will now see voice chat as text on your screen, and other players will hear anything you type transcribed in a voice of your choosing.

That's the only options I can see that works right now. If this doesn't help you I can rerout you to another expert to see if they can help too.

The reset and restart method did not resolve my issue.

The second option: "Navigate to Profile and system > Settings > Ease of Access; Select Game and Chat transcription; Under the Party chat options column, select one or both transcription settings" is not available on the PC Game Bar. If you could explain better how to get to Profiles Settings in the context of the Game Bar, that would be well appreciated.

Try this procedure, hope it helps. You can enable the Text Conversation Chat or Speech Conversation Chat features. To do this:- Go to the game's main menu and select the Settings tab. - Enter the Accessibility submenu. - Select Enable Text to Speech Chat or Enable Speech to Text Chat. To mute or unmute the microphone, highlight your Gamertag and press the OPTIONS button. In-game chat is enabled. You cannot hear party audio and the party cannot hear your voice. To switch to party audio, select [Party Settings] > [Chat Audio].

How do you talk to Minecraft support?

Minecraft includes an option to use text-to-speech for chat during any game session. To enable text-to-speech for chat: Use the Accessibility Menu in Settings to enable text-to-speech for chat.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+B at any point during a game session to enable text-to-speech for chat.
