    Party chat only works after I hard reset my xbox


    The only way I can talk or hear anyone in the party chat is to hard reset my Xbox. It's been happening for a couple months now. I even got a new Xbox and it is still happening. I don't know why it's happening and I want it to stop. Please help.

    happens to me too. this is an issue many people I play with have experienced and it is completely ignored, I also cant watch netflix because my xbox just turns off everytime i try to watch it.

    Hey there Im A Pair OF!

    Are you using the Headset that came with the console or do you have a different one plugged into the Stereo Headset Adapter? Does happen with a particular game, or in general? Let's start with seeing if you have any NAT restrictions. Follow the steps in

    That's really odd, could you please double check what's your NAT type?
    Open Settings > General > Network config

    May I know if you tried connecting the console to a completely different wifi network?
    For example share mobile data via wifi Hotspot and connect your console in that way

    By the way, if you try starting a party chat via mobile Xbox app, the issue persists?
