• Using a wired connection.
  
• Trying to connect to a different network, and then see if your issue is resolved.

Sorry to hear you are having party chat issues. I'm going to offer some options that you may have tried already, but these options have worked for others.

If you believe the party chat issue may be related to your account, you can check https://enforcement.xbox.com to check the status of your account. If that is the case, you would need to reach out to the enforcement team.

If not, to resolve your concern, you can follow the steps on the options below:

Option 1: Check Xbox Live status on this link. If you see any alerts, wait until the service is up and running, and then try again.

Option 2: Check the network statistics.

Check the statistics for your network. Here's how:

1. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
   
2. Select Settings.
   
3. Select All settings.
   
4. Select Network.
   
5. Select Network settings.
   
6. Select Detailed network statistics.
   
7. Review the statistics. For help evaluating the information, see Network settings on Xbox One.
   

Option 3: Have everyone in the party test their Xbox Live connection.

Someone in your party might have a Network Address Translation (NAT) problem. To find out, have everyone test their connection. Here's how:

1. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
   
2. Select Settings.
   
3. Select All settings.
   
4. Select Network.
   
5. Select Network settings.
   
6. Select Test network connection.
   

Notes

• If someone has a NAT indication in network settings, have that person try the Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution.
  
• If you're seeing more than 5-percent packet loss, you may want to troubleshoot your connection using the Xbox One Slow Performance Solution.
  

Option 4: Restart your Xbox One console.

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
   
2. Select Settings.
   
3. Select Restart console.
   
4. Select Yes to confirm.
   

Note If you're unable to access the guide, or if the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.

Option 5: Try a wired connection.

If you're currently using a wireless connection, try using a wired connection instead.

If you can start party chat when you use a wired connection, see the Networking Hardware Information section of the

Xbox Forums, or contact your router's manufacturer for information about how to configure the wireless settings on the router.

I am having the same exact issue. I can hear in game chat, but no one can hear me. MS, please prioritize this for fix! It had worked previously, but it has not worked worked now for a long time. As a workaround, I hear that you can install the xbox beta
app alongside the regular xbox app and use the in app party chat with one app and stream with the other, but this will only work with party chat, not in game....
