    Party chat on PC works for 2 seconds


    Party chat was working fine, and then i reset my pc(full reinstall) for non related reasons.

    now when i join a party, i can hear and be heard for about 2 seconds before nothing, im still in the party, just no audio in or out.

    tried reset/reinstall the xbox app

    firewall is on

    headset is set to default in sound settings and xbox app setting is set to default audio device.

    Sometime it can be the mix amp. Try unpluging it for a fee seconds and plug it back in. That worked for me with the same issues

    Upnp is on

    Nat is fine

    Audio devices are fine

    pc had a fresh windows install

    im actually joinng the party, but audio works for a grand total of a second or two, and if i minimize the console app, i dissconnect.

    Why isn't a Microsoft service working on a windows pc? im not the only one who has had problems with party chat on pc, is yalls design just that bad? what the hell gives? if you don't want to support party chat then freaking let discord or some other service
    that actually works on the xbox so people can crossplay properly. it shouldn't be this difficult to do talk to people over the internet, its been a thing for years.

    Take a look via Settings, Gameing, Xbox Networking. It seems like your NAT is no longer Open. It might mean you need to also restart your router/modem making sure that UPnP is on.

    If you are still having problems after your reboot your router/modem and PC, then let us know as there are additional things that can be done to help NAT, but using UPnP is the right way to go.
