Party chat on multiple consoles on one home IP address

I have 3 xbox one consoles in my home and they all work for multiplayer gaming at the same time, but only one console (and therefore account) can be a part of the same party chat at the same time. The other two consoles show as disconnected in the party
    menu.

Is XBL and the X1 capable of having more than one console in the same party on one public IP address? Xbox support seems to think its possible, but I have had this issue at 2 locations now (both Comcast).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    :)

  2. response to: Party Chat Issues? START HERE!

Checked all the forums as far and my patience and sanity would allow.

    Router & Modem make/model: Netgear Wireless G Router, WGR164v10/ Motorola Surfboard SB5101

    ISP: Time Warner Roadrunner

    Wired or wireless: Wireless

Multiple consoles on the same network (Yes/No): yes (360, X-One, multiple phones, multiple computers)

I followed the steps on the "Party Chat Issues? START HERE!" for the "NAT error solution" wizard and came up with no issues aside from one; the IP address on my router and my X-One different by the final number (router IP:192.168.1.5
    X-One IP 192.168.1.9).

My NAT type is registering as open on the X-One. I do not have the "All services are available" under Current Network Status.

Here are the issues my friend and I are experiencing.

    1. When we attempt to create a party between just us on the party app it will only allow us to go as far as joining the party. When this happens either him or myself will receive a message when attempting to turn on party chat saying that
the party chat can not be activated at this time please try again later. The window will show either of us as one being in the party and one not; ie if I sent the party invite and he accepts it, it will show me as in the party and not him and vice versa.
This happens regardless of who sent the party invite.

    2. The only time we were able to get the chat working is when he left the party and joined in a BF4 game I was playing. The connection was sketchy at best with me being only able to hear him sporadically.

Teredo is unable to qualify - I've tried EVERYTHING...

Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate connectivity between devices behind routers that use network address translation
    (NAT).

Failure to obtain a Teredo IP address can occur when there’s an issue with your Teredo adapter, when a device on your network is blocking the Teredo protocol, or if there’s software installed on your PC
that’s disabling Teredo functionality. Without a Teredo IP address, you’ll be unable to use party chat or do multiplayer gaming on Xbox Live.

Note The Teredo IP address is only necessary for Xbox Live party chat and multiplayer features. If your game doesn’t use the Xbox Live service, consult that game’s support site for help
    on chat and multiplayer issues.

How to make/set up a static IP on Xbox Series X

    Hi there!

To set a static IP address on your console, you must base the IP address from your router. If you have multiple devices connected to your router, you must check them one by one to make sure that there's no conflict of the IP address you set on your console. For example, if you set 192.168.8.3 as a static IP on your console, no other devices should have that. I suggest to set static IP on all of your devices to avoid conflicts because those devices automatically acquired IP address and it may use the IP address you set on your console if it's not connected to the network.

Someone is stalking me and trying to hit me offline with my ip address

There is a woman on xbox who has been trying to stalk me and find my IP Address to boot me offline. I am tired of trying to avoid her. I have blocked her account but she keeps having new accounts.
If you are being harassed by someone using multiple accounts, you can either try to keep up and blocking these multiple accounts one by one, or you could temporarily set your online and privacy settings to "Friends Only" on
    https://account.xbox.com/settings

That way the person can't send you any messages or talk to you in a party, unless that account of hers is on your friend list.

Keep in mind, that in order to "boot you offline", she needs to get hold of your current IP address. In order to do that, she has to have a direct peer-to-peer connection to you that she can monitor to find your IP address. So take care to NOT have her in
a chat party, a multiplayer lobby or outside Xbox Live having a Skype conversation or other chat or multiplayer game where she could log your IP address.

If for some reason she still got hold of your current IP, simply disconnect your modem or router from the wall outlet, and restart your modem and router. That will give you a new public IP address, and the DDoS Attack to boot you offline will go to the old
    IP address.

So you can easily get online and avoid being knocked offline again with the new IP address.

    Gold and Digital Games Sharing

Perhaps, but they need to find a way to expand this. Maybe tie it in to consoles registered tot he person or by consoles connected via the same IP address. Microsoft clearly doesn't understand the multiple console home where playing together but on different
TV's and in different rooms is important.

    xbox live

NAT is a misnomer. NAT is a system which lets multiple home devices share one public IP address, which is a good idea because we're running out of IPv4 addresses, and IPv6 is nowhere ready to use on gaming consoles.

However, that sharing can also block or misdirect port 3074 which is what the Xbox uses to carry its data traffic.
