    Party chat not working


    I am using the xbox companion app on my PC (windows 10) and cant hear anyone when joining a party. the app recognizes my mic, and moves when i talk but they cant hear me and i cant hear them. My headset (astro a40) works in every other instance whether
    it be youtube, discord, or in game. windows troubleshoot does nothing, my server type is open and connected according to windows and the app itself. all the drivers are up to date, windows is up to date. the app has permission to use my mic. i dont have a
    teredo error. how do i get my mic to work

    Xbox One Mic or Controller Issue

    By any chance are you trying to use it in party chat? With party chat, you need to go into it and physically turn on party chat for it to work. Hope this helps!

    Have you double checked enforcement.xbox.com to make sure you do not have a communications ban? Also be sure to try a hard reset of the console.

    Apparently there is still an issue because I'm having the problem right now. Tells me I cant get a Teredo IP address. I've tried several times. Followed all instructions for resolving NAT issues, hard restarts of gateway and Xbox, numerous connections
    tests.
