Party chat not working, NAT is Open

Playing destiny on Xb1 I can't use party chat, just says can't connect now because of network issues.

NAT is Open

Have tried opening all ports, followed all the trouble shooting guides. Switched between Game and Party chat,. Even tried another router, same problems.

Game chat works fine, just can't use party chat, anyone else having this issue?

Using a Technicolor TG589vn modem router, do have other Xbox 360's on the network though have tried it with these disconnected and no change.

Battlefield 4 crash to home screen. Party chat not working. no 5.1 sound.

for the party chat make sure everyone in the chat's NAT is open, i was having similar issues with a friend because mine was open and his was strict, and when he fixed that, the party chat was working fine.

 

Anyone have any ideas for this.

Read some posts about refreshing the uPNP table but not sure how to do this. Followed the Party Chat help walkthrough, no Luck getting it fixed

Thank you for all of the information! Your Technicolor device you are using looks to be a gateway. While we don't have any information on that, Technicolor generally is known for not supporting multiple consoles. Your router you tried also does not support
multiple consoles. Even thought the other consoles are off, both the gateway and the router you have still prioritizes whichever connected first.

I strongly recommend looking into a router that supports multiple consoles. You can refer to our

Router Forum page for a list of routers we have tested that are confirmed to work with multiple consoles and bridge the gateway.

I have purchased a DGND3700-100UKS gateway, I hope this will support the multiple consoles.

For both the other routers, I have tried both with just my xbox one connected. party chat still didn't work. To be sure, I did reset everything first. I even did a factory reset of the routers.

I will try this again and see what happens.

Right, new router turned up. Netgear DGND3700. Set this up with only 1 console on the network to rule out multi console issues. Guess what, No party chat still. So tried factory resets on all, and tried again with only 1 Xbox on the network and nothing so
this cannot be a issue with having multiple consoles on the network, It has to be something else.

Now this used to work even with the technicolor router from ISP and other consles on the network back when i bought the xbox last September, it only stopped wokring after one of the updates.

So, any other suggestions on what to do?

Me and a buddy of mine always have problems connecting in party chat when he is playing Destiny.

Apologies for the delay! So I just noticed you are posting from a Silver account, is that the account you are trying to party chat with? Xbox Live party chat requires Xbox Live Gold.

Is there anyone that uses your console that has Xbox Live Gold? If so, you can use the party chat feature while that user has the Xbox One console set as their home console or you will need to sign up for Xbox Live Gold. You can refer to our

Xbox One Home page for more information.

 

My 3 sons all have xbox live gold accounts and at least 1 of these has this set as their home xbox.

I can certainly play xbox live on my account so one of them must have or I wouldn't be able to.

To be clear, they can't get party chat to work either when they play it.
