Party chat - Network Limitation error

It doesn't happen all the time but there are times when either in a party or when in a party myself and friends get a n error in the party which closes down the party and weccan't hear each other. Upon trying to hit switch to party chat it appears to try
to put us back in and then says the same error. This has only happened since the most recent beta session. Any help or ideas? This is frustrating.

Error 0x807d0106 - Cannot turn on party chat

I'm also hitting this error: 0x807d0106 - "Due to network limitations, you can't join party chat right now."

Bumping this up. I'm having the same issues.

I can't turn on party chat. I get an error stating "we can't turn on party chat right now. Try again Later" or I get "do to network limitations, you can't join party chat right now (0x807a1007)"

 

It is also really annoying for me. Make sure your route have opened some ports. If still get the error, you could do a hard reboot with your Xbox One or try

those troubleshooting methods to resolve it.

 

Yup, as WorthierBog says, its usually a problem with your Router, MAC and/or Nat server. His link provides some useful stuff, but I found this was fixed on mine by doing the following:

-Select Settings.

-Select Network.

-From the Network settings screen, select Test multiplayer connection.

-After the test is complete DO NOT PRESS OK OR CONFIRM YOU'VE FINISHED!

instead to pull and hold both triggers and both bumpers on your controller. This will display a Detailed network statistics screen.

-In the second column of the Detailed network statistics screen you will see a field called Detailed NAT information. At first, you will see (…) displayed in this field while your NAT type is being retested. Once you see NAT information displayed in this
field, the test is complete.

-Press the B button on your controller to return to the Test multiplayer connection results.

-Select Continue to return to the Network settings screen and check your NAT type.

That should open it and resolve any probs. More details here

That is the thing, my NAT is open to begin with. I set my router to be a DMZ Host so everything is pushed through and it opened it up. I had Moderate to Strict NAT before I did that. I will take a look at the link if the problem persists. I know everybody
I play with has Open NAT. I make sure to have them check because it causes party issues.

 

We have made several stability improvements to party for the up and coming April release. If you would post your specific error code it might be helpful in determining if it was one that was fixed. In addition to your NAT settings there are other factors
such as network quality/bandwidth that may prevent party chat from working. We do understand more user friendly error messages would be helpful too.
