Party chat network issues after update?

A friend of mine and I were trying to chat via party and we kept getting a network error. First it would show that we both had sound even though we couldn't hear each other. We made sure party chat was on. Then after 30 seconds or so we would get a "party
chat network error" and it would turn off. This only started happening after the update. Anyone else having this issue?

You would think MS would have gotten this part right since it is the main portion of the update lol.

Party chat will only be available to live players. To chat with cross network gamers the app would probably need to implement some sort of voice or party function.

 

I can't turn on party chat

Bumping this up. I'm having the same issues.

I can't turn on party chat. I get an error stating "we can't turn on party chat right now. Try again Later" or I get "do to network limitations, you can't join party chat right now (0x807a1007)"

 

Also having this issue. I wish I hadn't purchased both the PS4 and Xbox One. I 'boned' myself going with Xbox One. Thanks Microsuck.

 

I was selected to test the new update, party chat was never fixed for me or my friends who had the update early. Still doesn't connect me with anyone now that the updates been released... This is getting ridiculous.

I am having this same problem. Contact support i reset my mac and cleared my persistent storage as well doing a reboot of my xbox one and restarted my router. It was a temporary fix. Its back to the Network Limitations Error. Im so tired of not being able
to talk to my friends.. At least before the march update it worked half the time.. Im really regretting my decision on the xbox one..should of got the PS4..party chat still is not fixed..

 

I've been trying to use party chat to communicate with my friend and chat feed show i'm speaking but my friend cant hear me. and i cannot hear my friend when he speaks. i know my volume is up and my mic isn't muted and the same for my friend. i want to know
if anyone knows a work around or some kind of fix for this issue. i feel like i spent more than $500 for a game console that is worse than the previous one. i am beginning to feel like i wasted my already limited money for a half finished overpriced piece
of crap console and i don't think Microsoft even cares. they released a "fix" that ruined party chat, (at least for me) and it seems like they don't care.
