Party Chat mute and Block problems

Yesterday i jumped on xbox and joined my groups party and found out that for whatever reason one of my friends was muted. i tried all day to unmute him and it just wouldnt work. we both tried blocking each other and adding back, but i just couldn't unmute
him. I eventually used my second account and played on that one just so i can hear him. I was able to hear everyone else perfectly fine but found i was unable to mute or block any of them. Today i jumped on and invited him to my party to see if it had fixed
itself. Luckily it did, but when another of our friends got on, i invited him and found out that now he is muted. The same problem stands. Cant unmute him cant block him. This has been a problem for a lot of my friends as well. They have been saying that their
xbox would just mute or randomly block some of our other friends in the party. Not sure whats going on but it seems to be a growing problem.

You're doing what you can do at this time. Mute everybody at party or engage the parent controls to block voice chat in every game.

 

Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

make sure you didn't mute mic on the party chat side not the controller adapter highlight your name in party chat and press Y.

pressing Y in party chat mode with your selection on the party chat system will mute you and pressing X mutes all party members (including yourself)

I have the same problem with some of my friends and I haven't seen a solution yet it sucks a lot.
