Party Chat Mic Problem

Hi!

I have the strange problem that when I'm in party chat with my mic turn on and party chat on I can see the green ring light up but my friends can't hear me. Same result when I'm using the VoIP option from in game chat of battlefield 4. Also skype doesn't
work with the headset. It automatically uses kinect mic or none at all.

So far I emptyed the cache, reinstalled skype and battlefield. Did the controller update, unplugged my xb1 from the power nothing works.

Anyone got got an idea?

Xbox one mic stopped working

Same problem as everyone has mentioned. Mic shows I'm connected. I can hear others through it. If I turn volume up, it beeps. Mute light turns on. No one can hear me. Not in game chat while not being in a party. Not in party chat while ensuring I'm in party
chat not game chat. Mic logo comes up that shows my mic is plugged in. My NAT is open. This is getting to be absolutely ridiculous.

 

Mic cant seem to hear me on my xbox?

make sure you didn't mute mic on the party chat side not the controller adapter highlight your name in party chat and press Y.

pressing Y in party chat mode with your selection on the party chat system will mute you and pressing X mutes all party members (including yourself)

I'm having the SAME issue. Doesn't work in Titanfall either. It worked FLAWLESSLY on launch night, but now things aren't working. I get a party invite, I join the party, my chat icon lights up (as does theirs), yet hey cannot hear me, and I cannot hear
them. We can go into the game lobby and chat for a bit, then it eventually goes bad.

I hope this gets answered soon, because I would like to know the answer to this. Titanfall is amazing, and I want to communicate with my friends while I play with them. As fun as playing alone is, playing with friends is so much better.

 

I believe the controller update us the root cause of the problem, because when I updated my controllers the starter headset will light up when you press the mic button but doesnt give out audio or receive it in the small mono speaker. The only reason I can
still talk to my friends on Titanfall in a party chat is because I was also using Kinect to default for chat options in case of a headset mic failure.

Again it could be that the headset took a crap, but it worked fine until I updated my controllers today.

So my thinking is that the controller update disables the starter chat headset forcing you to buy the stereo headset for $79.99. (Remember they dont cause Microsoft, M$ for nothing.

 

there's an issue with the controller update at this time. after updating I can still issue xbox commands but not chat with party. to rule out the kinect listening to the commands I went to another room & commands still worked. this is not a hardware issue
& narrows down to controller update. titanfall doesn't show sound wave icon & no one can hear me in my party. do not update until fixed. there's no way to uninstall
