Party chat kicking from a party or side menu saying cant find microphone

Open the xbox app on windows 10 by searching for "Xbox" in the start menu. Click on the cogwheel settings icon on the left. In the general tab, scroll down to party and check that the correct microphone and speakers you want to use are selected. In the top
right corner, select the party icon to open the party bar, on the right side of the app. Select start a party, then select onvite and then Invite to party to add friends to the chat. Select party options to lock the party to invite only, mute the chat, or
alter settings.

Going into party chat kicks you back to the main menu.

I cant find the article but they did say that skype calls are different from the party chat. But the chat is obviously based and using some sort of Skype technology.

My friends and I have had tremendous issues with the party chat. Often times, we find that although our equipment is in working condition, we are unable to hear each other in party chat. Also, it sometimes kicks us from the parties even though our internet
connection is uninterrupted.

No real point as surely if you are in a party you would tell the otherts if yo kicked someone and the same for if an other person kicked them then they would say if they had kicked them. Being in party chat is there for communication
