Party chat issues.

This started the other night when assassins creed unity came out and me and my buddy tried to play together now while we are playing the game we can't stay connected to each other through either the game or the xbox one party chat app. I know assassin's
creed multi-player is basically broken right now, but it shouldn't affect us just trying to party chat while playing the game on single player i would think. I have tried every solution i could find on Google, I already had all ports opened plus a static ip
set up and this again only started after we started playing assassin's creed. Has anybody else experienced these kinds of issue and know what might fix it?

Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

 

I've been in a party with a mate why we were both playing AC ( single player ) and haven't experienced issues.

You say your ports?NAT is ok but what about your friend? Maybe it's a problem their side?

Have you both tried hard resetting the console to see if that fixes it?

Can you both party up when playing something else? If so then it sounds like an AC problem but as I said, I didn't have any issues when me and a mate were playing the other day.

It isnt unity its the whole preview update, since Oct iv been having problems the party ends on its own and when i say "xbox snap party" it snaps but shows a new party so i have to rejoin the party i was in but then leave again because i cant hear anyone
and then rejoin again. wish microsoft would fix it. They released the Nov update even though there was party problems hope they fix them soon on horizon 2 if in game chat we cant always hear each other

 

All it says is you can't join a party chat now due to network limitations when we try to chat. We can't stay connected in game so I don't think that would work. I believe my buddies NAT is fine because we could play any other game without issues, I'll test
other games tonight but I just don't understand what is going on since it started with assassins creed.
