Party Chat Issues......

I have been having party chat issues since the August 1409 Beta update and I am tired of posting in the forums and not getting this problem resolved. I have paid for my Gold subscription and can't even use it for the main reason I paid for it....to chat
with friends. Should not have to wait MONTHS for a fix. The only response I get from moderators in here is that the engineers are aware of the situation....we need this fixed ASAP.

Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

 

Have you submitted console feedback in the preview program to help them narrow it down? It's difficult to pinpoint an issue when its not every one who has it. Foe example. Chat is working for me on the preview and always has been.

 

@GhostlyCloud....yes I have....I have done everything they asked and gets a bit frustrating explaining everything every time I talk to someone. We are here to help them but getting no help in return when something happens with their beta update. I am not
the only one having this issue if you check you will see a lot of people are having this issue plus other chat issues. I'm not a young kid complaining about this as I am a 43 year old man who just likes to game but also like to get what he pays for. Thanks

What exactly is happening? Can you hear your friends, and they cannot hear you? If that's the case, and you have done all the troubleshooting, this may mean that your mic piece on your headset is defective. Have you already set up a repair for that before?

 

Spyroman12.... I am able to hear my friends in game and in chat but they are unable to hear me. The only way they can hear me is through kinects in party chat ONLY. I have tried different headsets including the one that came with my one and still the same.
All was fine till the 1409 beta update. My headsets are the Astro Gaming A40's 2013 version and work fine on everything else. I even bought another chat adapter just in case that may have been defective and still the same. I even tried a brand new controller
with the update to it and still the same. I even restored my system to factory settings and still the same. I am a tech savvy person and this is frustrating not to be able to fix. I help all my other friends fix/repair their problems but my own. Thanks.
