Party Chat Issues

I can join a party and hear and talk to everyone in it, but after a random amount of time I can no longer talk or hear anyone. My friend says it shows me with no mic, but when I look in the party it shows that I DO have a mic and that it's still working.
My internet is fine and the only problems I'm having is with the party... How do I fix this? Sorry if this is the wrong section... I couldn't find the "Add New Post" button in the Xbox One support forums.

Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

 

Go to the party, click on your name with a button, select go to game chat, then hit it a again to go back to party chat and all will be fixed.

 

are you playing destiny (or anyone in your party) it seems to have this issue when someone is playing destiny

and ty DaveyBoy I will try this next time. the chat started working out of nowhere shortly after I made the post... I was just running around on destiny and I could hear and talk to everyone again all of a sudden.

 

This happens to some of us playing forza as well
