Party chat issues

Hi guys,

I was in a party earlier tonight, left to join a new one and heard nothing, so I tried rejoining etc and can still hear nothing; when I talk the red dot next to my name isn't picking up that i'm talking and I can hear nothing in the party, however if I start
a party by myself the mic is picking up my voice as it lights up when I talk.

I have reset my xbox from the settings and from the power source, I have tested connection, multiplayer connection, NAT (it is open), I have reset my router by manual reset and by power source, I have switched to game chat and back, muted myself and unmuted,
muted the party and unmuted, joined different parties with different people in them to see if thats the issue but nothing is working, I simply can't communicate to anyone via party chat.

Any ideas?

Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod
