Party Chat issues on all Xbox one consoles and Xbox series X

I have never experienced a problem with party chat before. Around the time the new consoles came out party chat stopped working on all my Xbox one consoles as well as Xbox series X:

Xbox one day one edition

Xbox one S

Xbox one X

Xbox series X

At first I would get a party chat error [0x89231806]. Now I am getting error [0x8923101C].

I would either initiate a party chat or accept one and it would try to connect or say connecting for a time then it would state that party chat encountered an error.

I have tried all the suggested Xbox online troubleshooting guides

I have tried changing my DNS server

I have tried changing my time zone

I have checked to see all the the Xbox ports are open

I have checked my privacy settings and set them to allow & everybody

I have tried resetting my network to defaults

I have reached out to Xbox support via twitter and direct chat which was not helpful as they just kept referring me to the Xbox troubleshooting guides

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi

Did you have this problem after updating your console? This might be a glitch caused by the update not installing correctly (something that happened to me a few days ago but with a different problem)

Go to "Settings > System > Updates > Latest console update status" and see if it says "Update failed" under "Latest status". If it does, you can try resetting your console by going to "System > Console info > Reset console" and select "Reset and keep my
games & apps".

Everywhere (including all games even series x games show the new gamertag but in parties/chat, on the homescreen, in the xbox app, and in the system menus show the old one.

and join party's and play the same game together, no matter who is playing on any of these consoles.

Xbox one games are not listed by x or s

They are all xbox one games

Series consoles are xbox series s or x that's it

Digital or disk thata all the options you get

We have two consoles in the house - an Xbox One X and an Xbox One S in the kids room. I have no trouble chatting with them (either via game chat or party chat)
