Party Chat Issue

Hi Guys,

The last couple of weeks I've began to notice an issue arising in party chat. I can't hear people every time they talk? The green light in the chat flickers when the person is talking yet I can't hear them? It seems to be intermittent, and I can't understand
why. My NAT is open, could this be a headset issue? I'm using my Turtle Beach XP400's, however I'm using a modded chat adaptor. The thing is both people can be talking at the same time, yet I can hear one, and not the other, so I don't think this is a headset
issue. I have ports that I'm aware of open on my router too.

Can anyone shed any light?

Yep , had to use Skype in the background for friend chat whilst gaming.

I've been using my tritons for sound and using kinetic for chat with my mates , if u snap party chat then turn it on , it works fine get the voices and sound through headphones just use kinetic for chat till adapter or new headphones arrive , we thought it worked fine on cod

 

This sounds like a speed issue with your internet connection. Since it's intermittent that leads me to believe this is the issue. I would be interested in hearing if this happens more at high usage times like early evenings but ceases during say mid afternoon.

Hmm, would it really be an issue with speed when I'm on a 7mb connection? Admittedly it isnt great but I'd think thats more than capable for such minimal audio. In terms of traffic management, I'm currently with EE who do throttle in peak times, however
they prioritise gaming so it doesn't effect my xbox one speeds, I stay at 7meg throughout the whole evening. You could be right, it was really bad last night playing Titanfall whilst in a party, however I've heard some reports many people are now having issues
with party and Titanfall together.
