Party chat 'how do I record my friends voice on the Xbox one ( elgato hd60)

Since your actual voice isn't being re-broadcasted over the TV audio, the Elgato won't be picking that up (by default, at least).

Elgato states on their support website that in order to record your own voice,
you will need a separate microphone connected to your computer. In that support page, it links you to an article about how to do "live
commentary", which I think would be useful for you too.

Connect your Xbox console to your PC using an Elgato HD60S+ capture card. You can do this by connecting the HDMI output from your Xbox to the HDMI input on the Elgato HD60S+ and then connecting the Elgato HD60S+ to your PC via USB.

Open the Xbox Game Bar on your PC and start a party chat with your Xbox friends.

In Streamlabs, add your Elgato HD60S+ as a video capture device by selecting "Video Capture Device" under the "Sources" tab.

Once your Elgato HD60S+ is added as a source, right-click on the source and select "Properties."

In the "Properties" menu, select "Configure Video" and make sure the "Custom" option is selected.

In the "Custom" menu, set the "Audio Input" to "Capture audio only." This will capture all audio from your Elgato HD60S+ including your Xbox party chat audio.

Start your stream in Streamlabs and your Xbox party audio should now be included.

Hi I have the same problem on Xbox one want to make videos on elgato hd60 but there is no option for party chat recordings you have to get loads of wires that cost too much really wish they would bring out an update.

You can record people's voices in party chat on 360? Since when?
