    0x87DD001E keeps poping up every time I try to join a party? how do I fix this

    The chat doesnt seem to work. Everytime i get invited to a party. I join but then when i click to switch party chat on, it just shows an error, but then i start the party , other ppl get the error

    In the case of "Fear The Doctor" above... this isn't a Party Chat error like the OP is having.

    You simply have to push the Menu button and select "Party Chat" because for some reason on rare occasions it puts you in a party but not in party chat.

    This does not solve the issue. I have the same problem & tried everything. The latest method is to delete skype & reinstall it. After that try to make a party chat. I tried this & it still doesn't work.

    The error code lookup only works for Xbox 360 error codes and I can't find anything on google. It maybe worth you checking with Xbox Support on Live Chat or maybe calling them.

    The chances are the issue will sort itself if you just hold down the power button for 10 seconds, leave the console for a minute and turn it back on.
