PARTY CHAT ERROR 0x89231806 PLEASE HELP

when i join a party from my xbox app on my pc i get this error message saying " your network settings are blocking party chat" (0x89231806)

MODERATE NAT ( Cant hear party chat! going insane )

'Your network settings are blocking party chat. 0x89231806' cant join the party chat I need help

 

Cant Join or add anyone to my party Please help

Im having trouble using the xbox app party chat and it say network setting blocked chat for some people and the code is [0x89231806] Please help

 

Not sure why! Do we know eachother lol

 

I'm also getting this error as well i have done all the trouble shooting steps enabling windows firewall, etc, etc but still no luck. I have also enabled the Teredo Tunneling Adapter its working and still no luck :-(

 

Also getting this error and have tried almost everything I have seen online

 

I would also like to know why. I tried enabling the TT adapter, disabling and enabling firewalls. Nothing );

i tried everything to...but it stays the same

 

i read a lil bit about it and says thats my network is a public network and it have to be a private network to conect

 

Make sure you have set your Network to Private instead of Public and that your firewall is enabled.

 

I had this same problem joining a party with more than two people it would show up with something wrong with my network settings and give me that error code 0x89231806, I did what Stoobication did above.

My network was a public network and I had no idea how to change it back (googled it up)

I went to my connection Icon on the windows bar (Double Click on it)

At the bottom of the networks window that pops up, Open "Network settings"

Near the bottom of that list is "Advanced Options"

If you have anyone on your network to not find your PC through this, I have no clue what else to do for you. (Google?)

So don't freak out, there is a Slider button for "Make this PC discoverable" This ONLY makes the computer discoverable to everyone that is on your network you are connected to.

After this it should make your network Private and your parties disconnection free (-ish, Remember Party chat on PC is still in beta)
